Their goal is to take out their leader and take back control of the island, thus ensuring that this island will never be the same again.
One of the biggest themes of the trailer is the way that the island will feel completely and utterly abandoned, until someone in it wakes up and the mission is complete. That sounds a lot like the feeling of a zombie apocalypse, but unlike a zombie apocalypse, there is no hope that the people on the island will survive.
The trailer also introduces us to the cult leader, willson jones carter baxley. He’s a man who’s been in isolation for so long that he’s developed no empathy for the people in his cult. The guy also seems to have a real hatred of the island and the people who live there, believing they are the enemy.
