The story of Nick begins long before his adventures on Deathloop. In the original version the author Nick Akerman was a teenage child in the year 1968. Nick was the only child in a small town of the Appalachian Mountains. His town had been the home of a few children raised by their grandmother, but the town children were always being taken away by the adults in town to be “sold” to a factory.
