ming lok is a term we use to refer to how we learn and apply information and skills. We will discuss the three levels of self-awareness in the following paragraphs, but I would like to address two different types of self-awareness that have been mentioned in the title of this article: the third and fourth level of self-awareness.
The first type of self-awareness is referred to as the “cognitive self,” which happens when we can see ourselves in the mirror or in the same way others can see us. What this means is that we can see our self as we are. It doesn’t mean that we see ourselves as “bad” or “good.” It means we see ourselves as we do.
Cognitive self awareness has been a major part of the self-awareness literature for a long time. The very first self-awareness book, The Ego Project, written by Dr. Dan Siegel in the early 1990s, was so much about cognitive self awareness and its importance for helping people understand what they are capable of and what they are missing in their lives that it was the first self-awareness book to gain significant attention and recognition (and even sold its first print run).
In this book, Siegel discusses how we are very good at self-reflection, but how we cannot always tell when we’re doing it well. This is because, in a natural and spontaneous way, we often only know how we are doing when something terrible happens to us.
We are good at self-awareness because we have a sense of self. This gives us a sense of where we are and where we want to be. Self-awareness is the key to realizing this. It’s the key to knowing what we want, what we are good at, and how we can improve. We need to understand how we are doing things, but we also need to learn how to do things better.
