This was one of those dishes that I ate for the first time in my life. It was very, very simple but the flavors were just so delicious. I’d never had anything like it before and I really wanted to try it again and again.
The dish is a riff on a French classic, a dish that is thought of as being so special that it only exists in recipes and it usually has a special topping. You can probably guess what it is, but it’s not important. What matters is that it’s delicious.
A quick note about the topping. Frank Youngs’s has no name on the menu but it is a very light, delicate topping that is a mixture of olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of pepper. I’m not sure how strong the flavor is on this dish but it was very, very good. I don’t know whether the topping is optional or not but it certainly is not necessary.

Frank Youngs is an interesting fellow, and I think he’s a lot of fun to watch. He definitely has an eccentric nature, but I think he’s also a bit of a lovable character. I’m pretty sure that he would be a great dad, but I’m probably just being overly optimistic about his character. I’m glad that he found his true love, but I’m not sure that this love is going to work out so well in the end.
