If you are a busy person, the last thing you want to do is to sit down in front of a book and do nothing. At the same time, there are times when it is smart to do a little more reading. I remember when I was a freshman in High School in the late 1990s, I was in the library and there was a very thin, very old book behind the counter. It was hard to read because there was so much to look at.
You had to look just right to get the most out of it. For example, this small book that was on the counter was about the Bible. It’s about how people of the time felt about certain events in the Bible. The same book was on the desk behind me a couple weeks ago and it was about a murder trial.
There’s something about the way we look at the world around us that is just as important as any other characteristic. The fact that we focus so much on superficial things like color, style, food, and hair is simply the way the world works.
The problem is that these superficial things are just the things that we focus on. As you may have heard, the things that are important and meaningful are much more often than not superficial. And since we focus on these things we get less of the important things.
If you think about it, it doesn’t really matter what you wear, what you eat, what you like, or even how you look. What matters is how you feel. In other words, what you feel. In that regard, you can’t really be more shallow than your clothes.
Well, the reason we focus on these superficial things is because we want to be more shallow. I hate it when people say that. I don’t want to become the shallow version of you. I like to be the person who is more deep than everyone else. In that spirit, I think the superficial stuff is important, but I think that this way of thinking is not healthy.
Colethompson is a video game developer. While they may not be the most technically grounded group of people, they are probably the most self-aware. They’ve watched, read, and interviewed a lot of people about game development, and they like to put that knowledge into their games so that their games look as good as they do.
The same can be said about most of the other developers out there, most of whom are not as self-aware as Colethompson, but they are still self-aware enough to know when they are doing something wrong.
